MIXED MEDIA
The following images are samples of work done in colored pencils and markers and in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign.
KING TUT
Inspired by the arrival of the king's artifacts to The Field Museum a few years back, I drew this image using markers and colored pencils.
Drawn on hot pressed board
Actual size: 15" x 13"

WATCH
I illustrated this watch in Adobe Illustrator. My reference was looking at the watch I was wearing on my wrist.
POST CARD
You would think this should be in the print media section of my portfolio, but I will tell you why it is here. I illustrated the characters in Adobe InDesign instead of Adobe Illustrator because this post card needed to have the color flexibility to be modified online. By creating it in InDesign, all the character's colors (bow tie, cummerbunds, flowers, etc.) could be modified to the customer's satisfaction.

DODGE 440 SIX-PACK

This was illustrated in markers, colored pencils and ink.
The original photo of this vehicle was in pristine condition. I took the liberty to create primered panels and rust spots to make it look like it had seen better days.
Drawn on marker paper
Actual size: 12" x 4"

ALIEN
This was illustrated using the stippling technique, which involves making thousands and thousands of dots using an ink pen. Needless to say my hand and wrist paid a heavy price, but I think the results speak for itself.
Drawn on illustration board
Actual size: 12" x 10"
